“Rebranding”,The biggest Global project of Alibaba: Local PMO

In the month of January 2022, Daraz Global project rebranding took place. It was a very crucial time for both the internal and external stakeholders of Daraz since it is a period when it may either come tumbling down or achieve new heights. There needed to be unremitting synchronization between the regional team and the local team about all the enduring apprises on day-on-day basis. As a local In-Charge from Mkt end, and as the Lead of this project, Faiza collaborated with all cross-functional departments to develop the asset replacement lock and track the cost of asset replacement, worked on the strategic marketing communication plan and budget allocation for rebranding. Moreover, she was involved in making communication strategies for the TVC, print commercials, and offline marketing. Also, after the launch, she aligned both internal and external stakeholders, updated the performance and action points on a day-on-day basis and attended internal and regional PMO calls for giving an update and controlling the performance having a holistic view on all the departments. . She came up with excellent communication ideas for an innovative jacket print advertisement for the leading newspaper, The Daily Star, in which she demonstrated her creativity in designing and writing the content, focusing on the brand guidelines and the strategy of immense possibilities that our box can provide. As a core member of Global Creative team, she showed Out-of-the-box intellectual and creativity in generating ideas for the local adaption of the global TVC on how to merge the local culture, casting and theme.
